Blast from the PAST!

So you'd think with this post I would have all of the time in the world, which I wish was true! But this building that one of my classes is in at the U is seriously like a blast from the past and I just had to share it. This was quite the task to take these pictures without looking like a crazy woman, especially in the bathroom (didn't want to look like a pervert either) but oh well! I don't think anything has been replaced or updated in this building since before my mom went to college there. I picture her with her long blonde hair, walking down these halls in the eighties in her gerbo jeans and BUM sweatshirt , and having everything look exactly how it looks today. Just take a look below and you'll see exactly what I mean. You'd think with the tuition they charge us poor students, they could at least update the place a bit, but I guess old things die hard. Take notice to the red doors, the old chairs, the gross old bathroom, and the anciently old vending machine, oh my gosh! It is classic!
These chairs below are very gross up close, they have weird white stuff all over them and I get freaked out having to put my stuff on em. I love that this weird room is in the bathroom, it reminds me of a dressing room, or a room at church where mom's go to nurse their babies, I don't really get it, but it put a big cramp in my style trying to take these pictures since there's always girls getting ready in here.
Look at the red doors, so funny! I bet his kind man didn't know he was getting his picture snapped!
Vending machine that is so dang old, I would be surprised if it even worked! These buttons looked like they would get jammed with the touch of a finger!
Look at these table and chairs??? It's like I'm back in Kindergarten again! Finger painting anyone?
Going to the bathroom in here is nauseating.....
Here you get a better idea of the "nursing room"
Look at this sink? The metal is all corroded away, and rusted and who knows what all those sick little black dots in the sink are? When I first saw them I thought they were blood, but they have been there for the last two months. Being nauseas and seeing this could be disastrous.
Okay my favorite thing of all, that dang tampon machine!? Can you believe how old? I want to buy one just to see if they are the huge, old, cardboard ones without the applicators??? It would top it off!
Thank you for reading, and I hope it reminds you of your childhood like it does me!

hahaha! Ewwww! Yeah, some of the buildings at the U are old and nasty. Is that the OSH building in those pictures? If it is, you should just walk to the LNCO building that's right next to it if you ever need to use the restroom. That building is much better! :)

Ha ha I think that the bathroom stalls are marble. They look pretty nice in the picture.
