23?

So it was my 23rd birthday yesterday. I can't even believe that I am 23 cause I sure don't feel like it. Anyway, I had such a fun weekend! Wren planned a birthday party for me on Friday and invited my friends. He barbecued tons of chicken and steak. It was SO good. My husband makes a mean steak I'll tell you what ;) We just talked and ate the whole night, it was so much fun! My friends are the best, they gave me the nicest gifts. It's crazy, they know me so well. Wren was so sweet to organize the whole thing. Bless his heart he wanted it to be a surprise but he needed a little help. He is the best! On Saturday Wren took me shopping. We seriously shopped all day long which neither of us ever like to do, but what the heck it was my birthday! I was so worn out that I came home and slept for a couple hours. Wren woke me up with a cute lunch he made me. On Sunday, which was my actual birthday, we went to lunch with my mom and dad and cute little sister at the funnest place downtown called eggs in the city. It was quite a long wait, but it was super fun because we sat outside and talked and the weather was to die for! I LOVE THE FALL! Any way I had a fantastic birthday! I love you everyone!

Partying hard baby!

Our night out on the town~

So this last month the owner of our company for some odd reason decided to nominate me for assistant manager of the year. He was very sweet to do this. I had no idea that he had nominated me though and recieved this letter to my work that said "Savannah Withers has an appointment with the Apartment Association on..." Blah Blah Blah, but my appointment was only a couple days later. I was so confused what I had an appointment for. So anyway, I show up on the day that it is scheduled and check in at the front desk. They lead me into this room and to my horror there are, I'm not joking, like a panel of 5 people lined up at this long desk. I was so confused, and had NO IDEA what to expect. Well turns out, it was exactly like a job interview. They asked me why I should win, what are my greatest qualties....gag me now, and it was even WORSE than a job interview because there were FIVE people staring at me. Finally, when it was over I ran out of the room I'm sure beat red. Well turns out, some how I was one out of 5 nominees chosen. So Wren and I got the chance to go to this amazing dinner up at Park City at the Grand Summit Lodge and hear who won for all the different categories. Every other company had tables and tables of people there and our company (Pentalon) had FOUR people total. So I'm starting to get freaked out when everybody's name is getting called and there are hoards of people cheering for them. All I had was Wren and my two favorite people from one of our other properties, so I'm whsipering to them, "You guys have to cheer for me! It will be totally embarrassing when they read my name and it is dead silent!" Well Carmen and Alicia barely clapped (thanks for you help guys!)when my name was read, and Wren was cheering my name, but it basically sounded dead silent when my name was read. It was so funny! Well sadly enough I didn't win, I lost to a girl names Stephanie. Dang Stephanie! But it was a great night none the less! Here are some pictures......

Our Honeymoon

Okay, so no one has really seen our honeymoon pictures. I was going through my pictures tonight, and boy are there some classics! What a pair we make, I'm very worried. So here are some pictures documenting our fabulous honeymoon. My aunt Stacie gave us a free time share, and boy was it a shocking surprise when we finally got there, a day late might I add because of a TERRIBLE ear ache I came down with on our wedding night. YES that's right, my wedding night. Wren really loved that, poor sucker. I think he's over it. Anyway, it came as a shock because it was immaculate! So thank you Stacie for the time share, Wren for the eardrops and hot rags...and well PATIENTS, and the very kind lady at Delta for extending our plane tickets a day late for $300 cheaper than she should have, I love you all! Anyway, take a peek.

On our way to our first night out on the town senoritas!

Okay this was CLASSIC! We were at this very cute little restaurant one night and this cute old man came and asked if we would like a song! Well I asked if he knew the piano man. He did! I have never found anything more comical as a mexican version of the piano man. It was to DIE FOR!!!!!

Wait...is that a big foot?

Our fabulous rental car, very large and safe. We would have for sure survived an accident in it.

Ok, so poor wren, I get very hot in the night, so I turn the a/c on full freakin blast. Well I woke up one morning and he was sound asleep like this when I woke up in the morning, all bundled up like so. He's my baby and my little eskimo ;)

We just sat on a hammock on the beach forever one night, it was so great

My baby, he's so amazing!

Whadup baby

We are special.....very special

Trip back in time.....

I think it's only right that Wren and I pay tribute and really take the time for a moment of silence to the era that we were born in. The eighties baby ;) After all, we were born then......

MY MAN in 1981, wish he was like this now.....!!!!!

Now we were born in the eighties.....but my parents on the other hand were born in the early 20th century. I'm warning you folks, this could get scary.....THEY MAKE A DISASTROUS DUO

Can you say PIN HEAD MOM? I don't think a picture in history has ever given a name such meaning...

And even more frightening....

Michelle's Birthday!

So I haven't put anything new up for awhile, so I'll add a couple posts of the last couple weeks! Wren and I have both started school this semester and are super busy with that and working full time. Why did I ever stop going to school is what I want to know!? I would have been freakin done! Oh well, ya win some and lose some I suppose. So anyway, last night was Michelle's birthday. We went to Johanna's kitchen with all of our friends and ate in honor of Michelle's birth 22 years ago ;) It was so fun, I just LOVE an excuse to all get together! I took Michy to breakfast yesterday morning, and we went shopping for a bit after. I love you so much Michy and thank you so much for being my best friend! You're always there for me and for that I will be truly indebted to you for a lifetime!

Mich and Markus

Aren't we great? Isn't Dana so tired?

Me and my perfect hubby!!!!

We went to Lake Powell with Wren's family last weekend. It was so much fun, we just relaxed and went boating all day long! It was a great break from work. Wren's family is so sweet and we loved being with them for the weekend! I am so lucky to have married into such a fun family! We love you guys!

Our Wedding letter from McKinley~

Here is the letter that Wren's brother McKinley sent to us from his mission to be read at the wedding dinner. There was SO much going on that day that I didn't get to pay super close attention to the words, but I just ran across it in Wren's email. It is so sweet and he is such an amazing writer. I think if everyone lived how he writes in this letter, we would be so happy!

The big bash!

There is only one time in my life that I can say that my brother is
getting married. And that is two days from now, the only difference is that it
will have to sound like this “meu irmão vai casar hoje.” That goes for wren
and savannah too, only once will you be able to say today, I am getting
married. I wish I could be there well I am there, I"m that sexy cardboard
thing in the corner, hey ladies! Seriously though, I wish that I could be
there because this is a day marked on the calendars of the dreamers. Ive come to
realize that the world belongs to the dreamers. Not because they always win, not

because they don't have it hard, but because they always have something to
hold onto through it all...a dream. A wedding day only happens once but it's
not like you love each other more on this day, you just realize that you love
each other just as much as you once dreamt when you were kids, not knowing that
th e other existed, wondering, "what will my wedding be like?" Two
lifetimes of distant, faded memories culminate into this one single moment where
a dream is realized. This is it, you are here. However, a wedding is not only a
day where two dreams are realized, but it is a day where new futures, new
dreams, and new lives together are formed. I encourage you both to dream big.
Let yourself slip into that world that is too familiar yet unfamiliar the

world of love. We watch, listen to, and search love, but often times we don’t
live it. Today love is lived. Create something that you can hold onto in those
times when you feel like you have nothing else, a dream that can pull you
through it all. Aside from creating this, live your life always loving and
always dreaming. But for now forget reality, the color of the dresses, who
didn't show up, who gave presents... Only think about the simple things, the
moments together, the frie nds and family present, the love that is expressed.
These are things we spend our lives dancing around and sometimes realize the
importance of. Always remember the beauty that is capable in the life of a
person. Always know that you are capable of creating an empire of perfection.
Live the life of a dreamer and realize what you have been blessed with. Do this
and the world is yours. I love you both and wish you the best! Savannah,
welcome to the wackiest family west of the mississippi! Eeeeaaiiiiii!

I love you family! Peace and love from brazil!
